Julie was introduced to yoga 10 years ago. She was working as a pet stylist and taking on more than her body could handle. Her doctor recommended she try yoga to relieve back pain and help weight loss. Being plus size, she felt out of place and gave up.

A few years later, she gave yoga a second chance. That is when she fell in love with yoga and all that it has to offer. She began to notice not only the physical benefits but mental benefits as well. She explored the different types and styles of yoga. Realizing that yoga is for everyone, she knew she had a passion to share this with others.

January of 2020 Julie began her 200 hour yoga teacher training. There was so much that she wanted to explore, so after graduating she continued her training and is currently working on her 500 hour teacher training. She loves to create one on one, personalized classes as well as inclusive group classes by blending different styles together with music.

Julie is passionate about yoga and creating space for all body types, abilities and cultures. When she isn't teaching or studying, she enjoys spending time with her family, creating social groups, and relaxing by the ocean.
