Jyotsna enjoys connecting with her patients and working with them in partnership. As an experienced psychiatric nurse practitioner and mental health therapist, she uses a biopsychosocial lens to gain a thorough understanding of where patients are, and what they hope to change about their lives. She has worked with patients aged 3 to 65+ and is trained to manage complex mental health needs. She values the opportunity to work with patients from different backgrounds and works hard to personalize treatment and meet individual needs.

Jyotsna has dual training as both a nurse practitioner and a psychotherapist. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northwestern University and a master’s degree in clinical counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Texas Woman’s University and a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Texas, Health Science Center. With board certification as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, she offers trauma-informed therapy and medication management for individuals living with mental illness, including depression, PMDD, anxiety, OCD, and PTSD. She has advanced training to work with neurodivergence, ADHD, highly sensitive individuals, giftedness, and ASD. She is also committed to supporting quality of life for individuals and families living with food allergies, chronic illness, and new-onset perimenopause.

When not in the office, Jyotsna enjoys reading, playing the piano, and spending time with her family, which includes one mischievous dog and two pampered cats.
