Psychiatric Medication Management

At Mind & Body Therapeutic Connections, we take a holistic approach to physical and emotional wellness. With that, we recognize the role adjunctive medications can play in meeting specific wellness goals, when indicated, while also incorporating valuable skills, life changes, and other holistic avenues that help individuals to improve their overall mental health and wellness.

We believe that if an individual can benefit from medication, the best approach is to see a provider who specializes in mental health, rather than just a general practitioner. This way, treatment starts with a full psychiatric evaluation with a provider with specialty training in diagnosing and treating mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorders, PTSD, and more through the use of psychotropic medications. This allows for regular follow up if medications are prescribed to manage the medication and monitor for side effects.

We have carefully selected providers who take the time to listen to their patients so they can accurately assess and manage patient's symptoms and any potential side effects. We collaborate with other medical professionals when needed to rule out other biological and social factors that may be causing symptoms. Our providers take the time to educate their patients on diagnoses, symptoms, side effects, and other things that they can do to manage their symptoms. We believe that a combination of medication management, therapy, and other therapeutic interventions can help our clients achieve maximum results.

We now have Psychiatric Evaluations and treatment providers at our main office in Garner as well as a satellite office in Cary, NC at 1230 SE Maynard Road, Suite 203, Cary, NC 27511 and via Telehealth within the state of NC. They accept most major insurances already, or are in the process of becoming in network.
