Patty Therapist

Patty is a compassionate and experienced therapist who brings over a decade of expertise in mental health care, including clinical practice, research, training, and consultation. She has worked across a wide range of settings and with clients spanning the lifespan—from toddlers as young as 18 months to adults in their late 80s. Patty works with a wide range of clinical presentations, with particular focus in trauma, early childhood mental health, and neurodiversity. Her therapy space is centered on a relational, person-centered approach and places immense value on the therapeutic relationship.

Patty practices a holistic approach to mental health care, curating a collection of accessible tools that are practical and useful for real-life situations. She believes that therapy works when the provided tools and insights work with your everyday experiences. Her work draws on a range of evidence-based practices, including mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, parts work, play therapy, and sand tray therapy. Patty’s therapy space is gender affirming and neurodiverse affirming.

Patty holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota and a master’s degree in clinical social work from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. She is deeply committed to accessible, preventative, and responsive mental health care, and views mental health as an essential part of overall wellness.
