Ronald Patterson, PMHNP,
Medication Management

Ronald Patterson is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over two decades of healthcare experience.  He started his healthcare journey as a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy.  After leaving the Navy, he continued to pursue his career as a Registered Nurse and then a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.  He has extensive education and training from Fayetteville State University, Methodist University, and Walden University.  His training also includes UNC-Chapel Hill and Duke University.

 

Ronald maintains a comprehensive focus on care including brief psychotherapy and prescribing mental health medications, if indicated, for children, adolescents, and adults.  Ronald believes in creating an individualized plan of care that values client involvement, interprofessional collaboration, and evidence-based practice.  His goal is for clients to feel empowered to treat their symptoms through supportive education in a stigma-free environment.

In addition to his professional experience, Ronald has pursued complementary and alternative therapeutic modalities for his health. He has an interest in nutrition, meditation, and physical fitness.
